Position: Carpentry Contractor
KBA Contracting Enterprises, LLC is looking for an individual who is an independent, self starter, courteous and polite to perform carpentry duties as assigned on client job site locations. Individual must possess basic problem solving and mathematical skills. and able to work well under pressure. Individuals must be able to practice self discipline as we are a "No Profanity and an Alcohol and Drug Free Workplace" Employer. We are also willing to train the right individual.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
-Ability to Measure Spaces and Level Independently
-Installing Hardwood Floors
-Installing Crown Molding
-Installing Windows and Doors
-Installing Decking or Fencing
-Complete project paper work, time sheets and other project forms.
-Attend training sessions
Candidate must have the following qualifications:
-Have a High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
-Good Communication Skills
-3-5 Years Carpentry Experience or Proven Experience in Framing, Drywall, Installing Hardwood Floors, Installing Crown Molding, Fencing, Decking, Windows and Doors.
-Basic Electrical Installation skills a plus
-Any trade license a plus
-Completed Vocational Education a plus
-Project Management Skills a plus
Must be 18 years are older to apply and must:
-Pass a Background Check
-Pass a Random Drug Testing
-Supply Worker's Compensation Certificate or DWC-11 Form
-Have a Valid Driver's License
-Have no license suspensions or infraction (not including minor speeding and parking tickets)
-Must be willing to travel 75% to areas outside of Rhode Island into Massachusetts
-Be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs
**All contractors are subject to a 90 day probational period.
